Last month German renewable energy community stakeholders came together within the framework of COME RES, to share the latest findings and current activities of the project, to discuss business models and good practice cases and to reflect on the latest policy developments in Germany, in particular in view of the results of the Bundestag elections. Participants discussed the roles of renewable energy communities in the energy transition and the need for action regarding the transposition of the renewable energy directive (RED II) in Germany.
